Choosing a new bike can be hard, but the fact that Ridley Australia offers Custom Paint options throughout their line of bikes.. it makes getting that unique build of yours that much more attainable. Simon's Fenix SL is the endurance model from Ridley, perfect for longer rides, poor roads (plenty in SEQ) and stable handling when you're cooked from a long day out. He chose Metallic Burnt Orange for the frame and Metallic Anthracite for the Logo's, giving a distinctive look and making it just that bit more personal. The cockpit comprises a set of Specialized Aerofly bars in 40cm wrapped in Supacaz Tape, and a 120mm Zipp SC SL stem. A 4ZA (Ridley's component arm) set back post holds a Specialized Power Pro saddle, with titanium rails and a carbon shell to help keep the weight down. Sram eTap powers the shifting and brakes, and a custom built set of wheels with Hope hubs, DT spokes and Craftworks rims roll on 26mm Specialized Turbo rubber. This bike has sucessfully raced crits and hit the gravel. Its a truly versatile frame.
